Để nhận biết thì hiện tại hoàn thành và quá khứ đơn, ta dựa vào những trạng từ trong câu đấy.

Sở hữu thì hiện tại hoàn thành, trong câu thường có 1 số trạng từ như: Simply (vừa new); just lately/ recently/ to this point (sắp đây); already (rồi); ever (đã từng); earlier than (trước đấy); but (chưa); till now/ till current/ up lớn the current (cho tới ngày nay}/ cho tới thời điểm hiện tại); since + mốc thời kì (từ lúc); for + khoảng thời kì (trong khoảng)… Những trạng từ “simply, already, ever, by no means” thường đứng sau have/ has và trước động từ trong câu.

*Xét về hành động trong quá khứ có hoặc ko có liên quan tới hiện tại
– Thì hiện tại hoàn thành diễn tả hành động đã xảy ra và còn kết quả tại hiện tại
